It’s day number 9. Today, we’ll answer the questions: What is degenerative disc disease (DDD)? And what causes degenerative disc disease (DDD)?
A lot of people think it’s “genetics” or “aging” that causes the spine to degenerate, but that’s not entirely true. In fact, most studies show a very, very loose correlation with aging and degenerative disc disease.
We know that DDD is a progressive condition, which means it gets worse with time. That is why it’s so often correlated with age. And we know here is a genetic component. But there is also a genetic component to tooth decay.
