Welcome back to day number 8. Today, we’re talking about headaches, neck alignment, and lung expansion (breathing). So many people with migraines (and other types of headaches) have lost the curve in their neck (alignment). This is also called head forward posture. (We talked about this in detail on Day 4.) When your head shifts forward, it causes pressure and irritation on the muscles and the nerves in your spine that could lead to headaches.
In the upper part of the neck and the base of your skull, you have a series of muscles we call the Occipital Triangle. These muscles literally form a triangle, and they are connected to the dura matter (tissue layer) that surrounds your brain. When you have abnormal stress/tension in the upper part of your neck, you literally have tension on your brain, and that causes headaches and much, much more… Watch the video below now…
