Day 8) The Headache

Welcome back to day number 8. Today, we’re talking about headaches, neck alignment, and lung expansion (breathing). So many people with migraines (and other types of headaches) have lost the curve in their neck (alignment). This is also called head forward posture. (We talked about this in detail on Day 4.) When your head shifts forward, it causes pressure and irritation on the muscles and the nerves in your spine that could lead to headaches.

In the upper part of the neck and the base of your skull, you have a series of muscles we call the Occipital Triangle. These muscles literally form a triangle, and they are connected to the dura matter (tissue layer) that surrounds your brain. When you have abnormal stress/tension in the upper part of your neck, you literally have tension on your brain, and that causes headaches and much, much more…  Watch the video below now…

Below you’ll find a link to the spinal hygiene kit, instruction sheet, and videos that will walk you through, step-by-step, exactly how to do all of the exercises.
Please make a commitment to doing these exercises every day. Below this video, you’ll find another link as well, it’s a link to a survey. I’m going to ask you a couple of questions about how you’re doing and how you’re feeling every day throughout these 21 days. This is a great way to keep yourself accountable. We want to make sure you’ve filled out and submitted that survey every day!

You can do this. I know you can. It’s going to be life changing. All right, go get those exercises done, and I’ll see you in the next video!
