Day 21) How to Make a Habit

It’s day number 21. Congratulations, and thank you for making it this far and completing the 21-Day Spinal Hygiene Challenge!

A surgeon by the name of Maxwell Maltz, author of a book called “Psycho-Cybernetics” that sold over 30 million copies, was a surgeon back in the early to mid-1900s, when he would perform limb amputations (surgeries) on solders during the war he would notice that it took about 21 to 90 days for the individual who had their limb amputated to get used to not having it.

His patients would claim to have what they call a “phantom limb” for about 3 weeks. They actually felt that their arm was still there for about 21 days or longer before their brain got used to it being gone (the pathways in the brain actually had to change), and then it realized they didn’t have a limb there.  Watch the video below now…
Below you’ll find a link to the spinal hygiene kit, instruction sheet, and videos that will walk you through, step-by-step, exactly how to do all of the exercises.
Please make a commitment to doing these exercises every day. Below this video, you’ll find another link as well, it’s a link to a survey. I’m going to ask you a couple of questions about how you’re doing and how you’re feeling every day throughout these 21 days. This is a great way to keep yourself accountable. We want to make sure you’ve filled out and submitted that survey every day!

You can do this. I know you can. It’s going to be life changing. All right, go get those exercises done, and I’ll see you in the next video!
