It’s day number 11, and we’re going to learn about the importance of imbibition (or movement,) for the discs in your spine. If you want a healthy spine the only way you can get nutrients to the discs (nutrients in, waste materials out) is through a process called imbibition. The pumping of the disc (movement) allows fluid and nutrients in, and waste material out.
This is why spinal decompression works so well. So you’ve heard of that. You’ve probably heard of people going to the chiropractor for spinal decompression therapy. When the spinal decompression machine pulls on the spine it’s creating a vacuum in the discs that pulls fluid in and out. That’s literally called “imbibition”.
