Day 6) Spinal Alignment

Welcome to day number 6. Today, we want to share with you the importance of proper spinal alignment. Leonardo da Vinci studied the spine of cadavers back in the 1400 and 1500s.  He drew the spine as he saw it in the journals that he kept.  All of his drawings show the spine as being straight from the front to back, and having natural curves from the side. This is the normal alignment of the spine.

Every anatomy book taught in every institution around the world shows the spine in this proper alignment, straight from the front and having natural curves from the side.  There’s a reason why this is called “normal”.  It’s because when your spine shifts out of alignment, it can cause pinching, pressure or irritation on the nerves that exit the spine.

Alignment is important not only because of pain or discomfort, but because your brain is constantly sending messages through the spinal cord and out your nerves, controlling the function of your body. If you have misalignment, damage or irritation on your nerves, it can affect your health in a drastic way.  Watch the video below now…

Below you’ll find a link to the spinal hygiene kit, instruction sheet, and videos that will walk you through, step-by-step, exactly how to do all of the exercises.
Please make a commitment to doing these exercises every day. Below this video, you’ll find another link as well, it’s a link to a survey. I’m going to ask you a couple of questions about how you’re doing and how you’re feeling every day throughout these 21 days. This is a great way to keep yourself accountable. We want to make sure you’ve filled out and submitted that survey every day!

You can do this. I know you can. It’s going to be life changing. All right, go get those exercises done, and I’ll see you in the next video!
